Officially moved!

I have officially moved and settled in to Hera House in Waterloo! Loving the new space and all the natural sunlight.

My schedule is just slightly changing as I now have a bit of a longer commute and my husband’s schedule has changed. I am now available Tuesday through Saturday and still offer the 1st Sunday of the month and my hours are changing to 10h30am-5h30pm

Referral discount

I offer a discount to any existing clients who send new clients my way. Once the referral has booked and left a deposit, you will be getting the equivalent of half the amount of their deposits off your next tattoo. Therefore, if the person you send my way leaves a 100$, you will get a 50$ discount off your next piece.

Price adjustment

I am also making a small change to my pricing which will take effect August 1st. I will now be adding taxes to my prices, so my hourly rate will be 150$/hr+ txs for custom & 120$/hr+ txs for flash. My deposits will however keep their flat rate and will be based on the tattoo quote.

* As of January 1st 2027, I will be raising my pricing and my hourly rate for custom to 170$/hr + txs and 140$/hr for flash. Since i haven’t changed my rates in 10yrs despite the cost of living going up, I feel it’s about time.

FAQs

When do you work?

I work Tuesday through Saturday and the 1st Sunday of every month. I book as early as 10:30 and usually finish work by 5:30pm.

Where are you located?

I am currently working with the lovely team over at Hera House, located at 181 Park St. in Waterloo.

What are your rates?

I mainly charge by piece and price will depend on the style, detailing, size and placement of the tattoo. I offer hourly rates when doing multiple session projects and charge 150$/hr + txs. For flash pieces requiring multiple sessions, I charge 120$/hr + txs.  I also offer a 1/2 day rate (4-5hrs) for 600$ +txs or full day rate (7-8hrs) for 900$+ txs..

**My starting rate is 150$+ txs for custom work and 100$ + txs for flash designs**

How can I pay on my appointment day?

I take cash or e-transfer for payments.

How do deposits work?

A non-refundable deposit, ranging from 50-200$, is required to setup & secure your tattoo appt. The amount of the deposit is dependent on the tattoo design/size and time needed to do it. The deposit comes off the total on the tattoo appt day, or taken off the last session if booking a tattoo that requires multiple appts to complete.

You must give 72hrs notice to move or postpone your tattoo appt or you will forfeit your deposit and a new deposit of the same amount or more will be required to reschedule your appt.

When can I get the sketch for my tattoo?

I send out sketches the day prior to your appt. I can usually make small changes to the design prior to your coming in for your tattoo or we can go over them when you get to your appt.

What areas of the body won’t you tattoo?

I will not tattoo faces or male genitalia/asses. I will only tattoo feet in the summer and when the weather allows for open shoes/ flip flops. I will only be accepting projects on hands or top of the fingers, head, throat or neck if I have worked with you before or if have a lot of visible tattoos already.

How old do I have to be to book with you?

To book an appointment with me, you have to be at least 18 years old. I will not be tattooing anyone under that age even with the consent of a parent or a legal gardian.

Do you take walk-ins

I do! Simply follow me on instagram and keep an eye out for stories announcing when I’m available for walk-ins. I will be prioritizing flash as they do not require drawing time and will accept small custom that dont require much drawing time. No deposits will be required for these.

Do you offer giftcards?

Yes, i do have giftcards/ gift certificates. Simply email me at elizabeth.d.tattoo@hotmail.com and give me the name of the person you’d like to gift it to and the amount you’d like to put towards it. Once I’ve answered, you’ll simply need to e-transfer the amount to the same email and you’ll receive an attachment with the gift certificate. You’ll be able to either print it and give it to the recipient or email it to them.
